Right after Xiaomi announced that it is making Redmi a standalone brand, a leak around the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone has emerged. The all-new Mi 9 is said to be in the works and a bunch of features have leaked on the internet.
If rumors are anything to go by, then the handset will make use of Sony’s new 48-megapixel camera (Sony IMX586 sensor) paired with a 12-megapixel camera with a 3D TOF camera. We recently heard that Xiaomi will also be using the same high-resolution sensor on the upcoming Redmi Pro 2.

In fact, its front will obviously be quite similar to the onePlus 6T look. As for camera, the latest Xiaomi Mi 9 leak corroborates previous leaks, with the claim that it will pack a triple rear camera setup - with one 48-megapixel Sony ImX586 sensor, another 12-megapixel sensor, and a 3D ToF sensor as well. For selfies, the smartphone will integrate a 24-megapixel selfie Sony IMX576 sensor. It will pack a 3,500mAh battery with 32W fast charging support, but no wireless charging support.
