Samsung is all set to launch a new budget smartphone series which might replace the current Galaxy J-series. While the new lineup will reportedly be called the Galaxy M-series, the Samsung Galaxy M10 along with the Samsung Galaxy M20, Samsung Galaxy M30, and Samsung Galaxy M40 is expected to be the first smartphones in the new lineup.

Now, according to a recent report, the Samsung Galaxy M10 has been spotted on the FCC certification site which has revealed some key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The listing was spotted by Nashville Chatterclass and it reveals that the Samsung Galaxy M10 sport a 6.5-inch display panel which could come with an Infinity-V display while the smartphone is backed by a 3,400mAh lithium-ion battery.

Screen protectors hint at minimal display curve for the Galaxy S10

Galaxy S10 display curve might not be as pronounced

The dimensions are in line with reports about the next flagship’s display sizes. The Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ are expected to feature 6.1-inch and 6.4-inch displays. These protectors have been cut to the same size.

The gains in screen real estate are quite evident when compared with the protectors for the Galaxy S9. It seems like Samsung has been able to achieve significantly slim bezels which is something that many fans will appreciate. This will be made possible by the Infinity-O display. It eliminates the need for a front camera notch by placing it inside a cutout in the display itself.

Samsung completely shifted its flagship lineup to curved displays with the Galaxy S8. Both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S9 have displays with rather pronounced curves on both edges. It may switch things up a bit with the Galaxy S10 if recent reports are any indication. It may offer a flat display with the entry-level model of the Galaxy S10. These screen protectors show that while the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ displays will be curved, they will be noticeably less so compared to previous models.

The future of the smartphone rests in the hands of the Samsung Galaxy S10.

Samsung Galaxy S10, foldable phone

It is said that Samsung Galaxy S10 is a revised one-on-one interface with 5G support and at the top of Android pie. With top-end specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S10 is expected to show one of the punch hole cameras or new Notches (Infinity-V, Infinity-O) shown by the company last year.

The Galaxy S10 will be built on the current generation Note 9 and Galaxy S9 phones, while the eyes are fixed on Samsung's foldable phone. The phone opens to reveal a large 7.3-inch display like a book that has three sub-displays. Samsung is already betting big on the phone and it is said that it will ship 1 million units. Samsung is preparing to launch the phone foldable in March this year.
